Neil has been a keen student of golf course architecture for many years. He has been a member of the Victoria Golf Club during the 80's prior to the recent role of Captain of the Flinders Golf Club for 6 years. As a result of the Captaincy a course development programme was implemented focusing on creative and member/player friendly course improvements. These improvements were achieved within a limited budget, but have been widely applauded by both members and visitors to the club.
The experience he has gained in the design/planning and project managing these improvements within a club environment, affords him great insight into managing Club Committee and Member expectations. Importantly the passion to develop a greater understanding of course architecture has seen Neil visit, play and explore Championship Courses throughout the world as both player & caddie.
He has completed other successful projects on the Mornington Peninsula at The Dunes, Rosebud Country Club, Foster Golf Club with works scheduled for Mansfield Golf Club & Ararat Chalambar Golf Club Easter 2015.
Neil is a 3 handicap golfer and proudly represents the Flinders Pennant team
